Remembering the ones who gave all. We honor the men and women of the US Military that made the ultimate sacrifice while serving. As our flags are flying, we can never and will never forget the sacrifice they made to help ensure our freedom.
The inspiration for this painting "Never Forget" was right here in our small town in a neighborhood that was actually built to provide housing for a company that provided support for our men and women that were serving in World War 2.
The orange/ginger cat on the post; his name is Morris. We discovered him one night trying to eat bird food on the ground. He looked fat and healthy so we thought he belonged to someone. But after a few weeks, we realized he was abandoned. We begin the long process of bringing him in. Finally after a few months of feeding him, we saw he was losing weight and then he came up with a severe leg injury. So Morris is now a house cat with food every day and a warm place to sleep at night. He enjoys his newfound stardom and he doesn't know it but each time his image sells, a portion will go towards helping other cats like himself find a forever home.
